Ball Placement Rule – Team Scramble Format:
-
General Areas (fairway, rough, sand, etc.):
Each player may place their ball within one club length of the selected shot, no closer to the hole, and must remain in the same type of lie (e.g., rough stays in rough, sand stays in sand, fairway stays in fairway). -
On the Putting Green:
Placement is allowed within one grip length, no closer to the hole. -
Hazards and Penalty Areas:
If the selected shot is in a penalty area or hazard, all subsequent shots must be played from within that same area. You may not place the ball out of the hazard to improve the lie. -
Lie Integrity:
You may not improve the lie by moving the ball from one condition to another (e.g., rough to fairway, sand to grass, fringe to green).

If a Hole-In-One Is Made:
If a hole-in-one is made on a contest hole, please notify GolfStatus within 48 hours so we can begin the claims process. The winner and all witnesses will need to complete the required affidavit forms, and we will also need a photo of the winner’s driver’s license, the event player list, and the signed scorecard from that day.
Once all required documents are received, our team will work with the insurance provider to verify and process the claim. This typically takes 5–8 weeks for the winner to be paid.
Good Luck!
